Award
The Junior Chamber International Senate Award is the highest honor that can be given by a chapter to a local member. The minimum requirements to obtain a Senatorship includes but is not limited to a minimum of 5-years membership prior to nomination.
Senate applications should be sent to the Iowa Jaycee President or to the Iowa Jaycee Service Center a minimum of six (6) months prior to presentation date. The application is then forwarded to the Iowa Jaycee Awards committee for approval.
Cost for the
Senate Award is as follows:
- $300.00 payable to Junior Chamber International
- $75.00 payable to the US Junior Chamber
Optional
Fees:
- $50.00 to the Iowa JCI Senate. This money goes to the individuals
first year dues in the Iowa Senate organization, and also covers the cost
of the nominees Iowa JCI nametag.
